Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, I moved to Colorado in 1999 training as a solo figure skating competitor for the Olympics. Performing my whole life, I have always known that my passion was to be an artist.
I received my Bachelors degree in Performance & Directing, graduating with honors. I was awarded with a research grant that funded the artistic research, development & materials for a Sculptformance project that demonstrated a workshop series with a group of multi-disciplinary collaborators. Since then, I have continued to teach, perform artist residencies, produce original work, & train with well-known professionals in the performing arts across the country and internationally.
I direct original and devised work and traditional theatre, have produced several solo performance pieces, manage and participate in the Movement Improv Lab in Boulder, publish The Artist Chronicle, & am the cofounder of an innovative art and social practice space, Denver Performance Research.
I have been invited by world renowned La MaMa Umbria International and Offucina Eclectic Arts to create a new work in collaboration with international colleagues as an artist in residence in Umbria, Italy.
